What Should I Pack?
-
Passport
Our suggestion: Buy a passport protector of some sort. We use the RFID Blocking Passport Zip Wallet.
Universal Travel Adapters
Our suggestion: EPICKA Universal Travel Adapter
Umbrella
Travel Visa Paperwork
See our International Travel Resources page.
Packing Cubes
Our suggestion: Thule Compression Packing Cubes
-
Sweaters
Our suggestion: If you plan to buy an Irish sweater (some of the best in the world), don’t pack too many or prepare to become a sweaty sweater onion (lots and lots of layers) for your plane ride back.
Pants
Our suggestion: Bring 2-3 pairs. Ensure one is nicer if you plan to wear pants to the wedding.
Pajamas
Waterproof jacket
Warm socks
Coat
Our suggestion: Try your best to bring one good coat. They are hard to fold into luggage, so you’ll most likely wear it on the plane.
Scarf and/or Hat
Our suggestion: Buy one in Ireland! The region offers so many incredible wool products, including stunning scarves and hats. Plus, it’s a great souvenir you’ll actually use.
-
Some places may be cash only or you might need to tip a taxi. Go to your bank and grab some euros before the trip.
-
Comfortable walking shoes
Boots
(Optional) A dressy shoe for the wedding
-
Toothbrush/toothpaste
Face wash
Body wash
Shampoo
Conditioner
Contact lenses/glasses
Chapstick and/or lotion (it’ll be chilly near the cliffs)
Medications (especially Dramamine if you get car or sea sick)
-
Eye mask
Neck pillow
A small form of entertainment (emphasis on small)
Our suggestion: Your plane will most likely offer in-flight entertainment. But bring a Kindle or a (single) book, if you’re looking for a quiet moment.
