Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA): If you are going through border control for any of the following countries, you will need to apply for the ETA.

Wales
Scotland
North of Ireland
Note: You don’t need an ETA to transit through the UK if you won’t go through border control. If you are unsure, check with your airline or apply for one just to be safe!
